The Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle (FICPI) has developed a training course to teach the preparation of patent specifications and claims from an international perspective, with input from tutors from Europe, Australia, the US and Japan. EuroSEAD has run successfully every year since 1999. We are pleased to announce that the next course will be held in Hamburg (Germany) from 30 April - 4 May and 1-5 October 2012.

The course will be of particular benefit to those who have recently entered the profession and those who wish to improve their drafting skills in preparation of national and European examinations.

The number of students on the course is strictly limited to provide for optimal personal interaction with the tutors. However, there are a few places remaining for this year's course.

Excitement is building as the Melbourne Congress, FICPI's first in Australia, approaches. FICPI has announced some of the speakers for the outstanding program prepared for the Congress. More will be announced in the coming days. Substantial reductions in the registration fees are available for those who register before the Early Registration Deadline of February 3.
